Colin Ross, WSET Wine & Spirits Educator
It all started while bartending in a French bistro and taking a trip to Napa Valley many, many years ago with a visit to Mondavi & Stags’ Leap Winery. From that point on hospitality has been in Colin’s blood. After pursuing his business degree at Simon Fraser University while teaching skiing at Blackcomb Mountain he returned to his roots in restaurants with turns as a partner, general manager, wine director and owner of various restaurants, including Tuc Craft Kitchen which was in Gastown, Vancouver, BC.
Colin is now the manager of Tightrope Winery and lives in the sunny Okanagan.
He Teaches WSET Wine and Spirits course at the BCBTAC Facility at eh Okanagan College Penticton Campus.
