For individuals beginning their wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.

At Statera, we have Level 1 wine classes that are held on one day intensives. The course starts at 9:00am and we are finished by 5:00pm.
We also hold Level 1 classes as a night course, where the class will run 3 consecutive weeks on a week night ( such as 3 Tuesdays in a row) from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
